| Read the article |On April 6, 2026, Hanoi Law University organized a reception and working session with a delegation from the Research and Training Institute, Ministry of Justice of Japan. The working session took place in a cordial and open atmosphere, continuing to affirm the good cooperative relationship between the two sides in the field of legal training and research.

On the side of the Research and Training Institute, Ministry of Justice of Japan: Mr. Suzuki Yudai and Mr. Sasaki Kohei; also attending were Ms. Do Thi Hoai Thu (JICA) – interpreter and representative of the Japanese Law Training and Research Center at the University.
On the side of Hanoi Law University: Assoc. Prof. Dr. To Van Hoa, Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Quang, Vice Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan Thị Lan Huong, Head of the International Cooperation Department; Dr. Tran Kim Lieu, Director of the Law Practice Center.
During the working session, the two sides exchanged and updated the status of cooperation over the past time. Assoc. Prof. Dr. To Van Hoa expressed his joy at meeting Mr. Suzuki Yudai and Mr. Sasaki Kohei again at the University, and at the same time sent his thanks to Mr. Suzuki Yudai and Japanese partners for their active support and effective coordination during the recent working trip of the Ministry of Justice of Vietnam to Japan.

The two sides focused on exchanging several important professional contents, including:
Hanoi Law University providing feedback and suggestions to improve the efficiency of working content within the framework of the LEAD Program during working trips to Japan.
Exchanging ideas on research topics of interest to the University for publication in a joint scientific journal between the two sides.
Discussing cooperative contents in training, such as developing short-term training courses for officials, legal document drafting skills training courses, as well as methodology in legal assessment and training.
The delegation from the Research and Training Institute, Ministry of Justice of Japan also expressed interest in learning about the curriculum system selected for teaching students of Hanoi Law University, as well as the career orientation of students after graduation.
The working session took place successfully, contributing to strengthening understanding, sharing experiences, and opening up many practical cooperation opportunities in the coming time between Hanoi Law University and Japanese partners, especially in the field of legal training and research.
