Overview of the meeting

Representing the delegation from the Royal University of Law and Economics (RULE), Hanoi Law University was pleased to welcome Ms. Ngouv Muy Seo, Deputy Director of the English-Based Bachelor of Law Program (ELBBL); Ms. Sy Champa, Academic Advisor of the English-Based Bachelor and Master of Laws Programs (ELBBL & ELBML), together with 14 law students from RULE.

Speaking at the event, on behalf of the leadership of Hanoi Law University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Quang warmly welcomed the delegation and expressed his sincere appreciation to the RULE faculty members and students for choosing Hanoi Law University as a destination in Vietnam for their academic and cultural learning journey.

With the aim of providing RULE law students with opportunities to learn about Vietnam’s legal system and culture, Hanoi Law University designed and organized a practical Short-Term Course. As part of the program, students will gain knowledge through lectures on an Overview of the Vietnamese Legal System, while also taking field trips to judicial institutions and legal practice organizations. Combined with student exchange activities and opportunities to explore the culture of Hanoi, the program is expected to provide RULE students with practical academic experiences and broader, in-depth perspectives.

This event marked a positive continuation of the visit and working trip by a delegation from Hanoi Law University to Cambodia in early June 2026, during which the two universities officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) as a foundation for future cooperation activities. As Hanoi Law University continues to promote its proactive international integration strategy, cooperation with RULE not only contributes to strengthening the friendship between the two universities but also helps further deepen the longstanding and sustainable ties between Vietnam and Cambodia.

Hanoi Law University expressed its hope that, in the coming period, the two universities will actively strengthen exchanges and cooperation in education and academic research, contributing to practical, effective, and sustainable international integration.
