Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Quang, Vice Rector of Hanoi Law University, attended the third World Legal Scholars Forum in 2026. This international event took place from July 3 to July 6, 2026, in Beijing, China. This is an important foreign affairs activity aimed at promoting the long-standing cooperative relationship between the two prestigious legal education institutions.

The World Legal Scholars Forum is a premier international conference held biennially, founded by the China University of Political Science and Law. The forum aims to promote high-level academic dialogue and innovation in global legal research and education. Following the success of the forums in 2022 and 2024, the 2026 forum returned under the theme "Exchanges and Mutual Learning between Chinese and Foreign Rule of Law Civilizations". This year's event attracted around 100 leading speakers, including 50 international experts and 50 Chinese experts, creating a broad space for academic exchange with one Plenary Session and five parallel sub-forums.
Representatives from Hanoi Law University participated in a thematic discussion session at the World Lawyers Forum 2026In addition to the professional content of the Forum, a key highlight of this business trip was the strengthening of bilateral relations between the two universities. Building on their existing partnership, Hanoi Law University and the China University of Political Science and Law resigned a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The resignation of this MOU holds significant strategic importance, opening a new phase in enhancing faculty and student exchanges, and promoting joint research programs and international conferences. At the same time, the delegation also held private working sessions to gain a deeper understanding of programs combining political education with law for national governance.
Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Quang, Vice Rector of Hanoi Law University, and Professor YU Fei, Vice Director of China University of Political Science and Law, exchanged the MoU signed by the two universities within the framework of a meeting on the sidelines of the ForumAs part of the itinerary, the delegation also participated in a field study in Fengtai District and toured the campus of the China University of Political Science and Law. Furthermore, to realize the spirit of cooperation, both universities agreed to send 04 outstanding students from Hanoi Law University to participate in an international summer school at CUPL immediately after the forum concluded.
