| Read the article |On the morning of September 14, 2026, Hanoi Law University (HLU) hosted a formal reception and working session with a delegation of experts from the Republic of Cyprus. The meeting opened up promising opportunities for strategic cooperation in legal education and research, particularly in specialized fields such as Public Law, Energy Law, and European Law.
Representing Hanoi Law University: The reception was honored by the presence of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Quang, Vice Rector of HLU; Dr. Nguyen Thi Thanh Tu, Deputy Head of the Office of International Cooperation; and Dr. Tran Minh Ngoc, Dean of the Faculty of International Law.

Representing the delegation from the Republic of Cyprus: The delegation included Dr. Athina Moraiti, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law and Assistant Professor at the School of Social Sciences and Humanities, University of Limassol, accompanied by her husband, Dr. Charalampos Stamelos, Lecturer at the Faculty of Law, European University Cyprus, as well as a practicing lawyer in Athens and before the Supreme Court of Greece.
In his remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Quang, Vice Rector of HLU, warmly welcomed Dr. Athina Moraiti and Dr. Charalampos Stamelos to Hanoi Law University. He emphasized that, in the context of deepening international integration, strengthening cooperation with higher education institutions and distinguished scholars in Europe is one of the University's key strategic priorities, contributing to the enhancement of the quality of legal education and academic research.

In response to the warm and cordial welcome from the University's leadership, Dr. Athina Moraiti expressed her pleasure at visiting Hanoi Law University, one of Vietnam's leading institutions for legal education and research. Following the reception, the program continued at Hall A402 with a series of academic talks delivered by the experts, attracting considerable interest from lecturers, postgraduate students, and students of the Faculty of International Law.
